Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data Agents for Traders (agentsfortraders.com) handles, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Bruce De Gouveia, a private individual resident in Portugal, who runs Agents for Traders.

We have not appointed a data protection officer, because the law does not require one for a project of this size. Write to the address above about anything in this notice.
Visiting the website
- No tracking. The site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not load third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. If we ever add analytics, we will update this notice first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
- Hosting logs. The site is hosted by Vercel. To deliver and protect the site, Vercel processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. We use this only for security and fixing faults. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Cookies. The public site sets no cookies. A banner isn't needed while that stays true.
The Daily 3 email
The Daily 3 is a free email with three process workflows on US trading days. It is sent with Kit (kit.com, formerly ConvertKit), which acts as our processor.
- What we collect: your email address, the time you signed up and confirmed, the technical details Kit records with your sign-up (such as IP address), basic delivery data (delivered, bounced, unsubscribed), and open and click data. Kit records whether you open each Daily 3 email, using a tiny image in the email, and which links you click, because links pass through Kit first. We only look at these numbers in total, to see which workflows are useful, and never to profile you. You can avoid open tracking by turning off images in your email app, and unsubscribing stops all of it.
- Why: to send you the Daily 3 and to see, in total, which workflows are useful. Nothing else. The list is never sold, rented or shared, and we don't send third-party promotions.
- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Double opt-in: after you sign up, Kit emails you a confirmation link. You won't receive the Daily 3 until you click it. This proves the address is yours and that you asked.
- Unsubscribe any time: every email has an unsubscribe link that works in one click, or you can write to hello@agentsfortraders.com. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect emails sent before.
- How long we keep it: until you unsubscribe. Within 30 days after that, we delete your details, except for a minimal record that you unsubscribed so we don't email you again. Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.
When you email us
If you write to hello@agentsfortraders.com, we use your address and message to reply and to handle corrections or takedown requests. We keep correspondence for up to 24 months, then delete it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Vercel, Kit and Cloudflare process data under their standard data processing addendums, linked above. The mailbox is a personal Google account, so Google handles that email under its own privacy policy, linked above. Where data goes outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the provider states it is certified, on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
We don't make automated decisions about you, and we don't build profiles.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it is used, or receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@agentsfortraders.com. We reply within one month.
If you think we've handled your data badly, please tell us first so we can fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, cnpd.pt), or to the authority in your own EU country.
Children
The site and the Daily 3 are not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If anything here changes, for example if we add analytics, we'll update this page and the date below. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the Daily 3.
